EQAS cycle 2026 · open for enrolment

Know where your lab stands before a patient does.

Every month we ship blind samples to your bench. You run them as routine work. We place your number beside every other laboratory running your method on your analyser — and send back the bias you could not see.

Why external assessment

Internal QC proves the run was stable. It cannot prove the run was right.

A drifting calibrator, an ageing reagent lot or a factory-set method bias reproduces itself faithfully all day. Your Levey-Jennings charts stay flat, every control passes, and the error walks out on a patient report.

It only becomes visible when your value is set beside the values other laboratories obtained on identical material. That comparison is the whole point of an EQAS cycle.

Why labs need EQAS

An investigated outlier is stronger audit evidence than a year of unbroken passes. ISO 15189 requires laboratories to take part in interlaboratory comparison covering the examinations they report. Confirm your scheme selection covers every analyte in your accreditation scope.
Schemes

Four schemes open for enrolment

Take one or several. Annual fees cover all twelve samples, every monthly report and the end-of-cycle certificate.

Scheme CB-I

Clinical Biochemistry I

The full routine chemistry panel for laboratories reporting a complete profile on an automated analyser.

₹5,000per year · government and private
Scheme CB-II

Clinical Biochemistry II

A shorter analyte set for smaller laboratories and collection centres running a core profile.

₹3,500per year · government and private
Scheme UR-MA

Urine microalbumin & protein

For laboratories reporting albuminuria, where a small method bias changes patient staging.

₹650government · ₹800 private, incl. GST
Scheme UR-CH

Urine chemistry

Quantitative urine analytes, including electrolyte and stone-risk work.

₹2,500government · ₹3,000 private, incl. GST

The participant portal

Submit results and read your performance online

Enrolment, result entry and every report live in one portal. No spreadsheets emailed back and forth, no waiting for a posted printout.

Automated statistics

Consensus mean, SD, CV, bias and Z-score calculated per analyte the moment a cycle closes — no manual computation, no transcription error.

Real-time comparison

See your submitted value against the running peer group as soon as the analysis completes, rather than at the end of the year.

Unimodal and multimodal

Whether your scheme evaluates against a single consensus or across several method groups, the portal handles both without separate workflows.

Histograms and outlier views

Every analyte plots as a distribution with your position marked, so an outlier is visible rather than buried in a table.

Qualitative analytes

Schemes that report positive/negative or titre results are assessed on agreement with the consensus rather than forced into a numeric score.

Certificates on close

Participation certificates and the end-of-cycle summary generate automatically, formatted for your accreditation file.
